Muhammad Currim Oozeer

A founding member of Sidra Capital, Muhammad joined in 2008 from HSBC Amanah, Malaysia. His last role there was Head of Asia Origination. Prior to that, he was with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, the private sector arm of Islamic Development Bank Group that is responsible for structured finance and syndication operations. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Finance from Brunel University and he then went on to complete his Masters in International Securities, Investment & Banking at the ICMA Centre, University of Reading. He also has a PhD in Finance from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading and is a CFA Charter Holder.
