Our entity name “Sidra” represents a tree symbolizing growth. By connecting the essence of Sidra with our responsibility towards society, CSR becomes the seed that is planted together hence the word “NOTHMIR” in Arabic. Our aim in NOTHMIR is to pursue a set of key fundamental objectives, educating the community on environmental issues, shaping perceptions, and fostering a culture of eco-friendly living.
NOTHMIR Initiatives
The Joy of Eid
Sidra Capital, in its commitment to celebrating Eid and uplifting the spirit of joy, organized the “Eid is a Joy” initiative as part of the NOTHMIR initiatives for the year 1445 AH / 2024 AD. This initiative took place immediately after the Eid prayer, encompassing vibrant celebrations infused with happiness, where children and residents of the neighborhood were delighted with gifts and sweets. The festivities were held across several neighborhood centers in Jeddah, including Al-Rawdah, Al-Shatei, and Al-Basateen. This initiative aligns with Vision 2030, emphasizing the enhancement of quality of life and fostering community engagement through active participation in diverse events and activities.
My Environment, My Responsibility
Under the identity of NOTHMIR, Sidra Capital launched an environmental awareness exhibition under the slogan “My Environment, My Responsibility” as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
This exhibition aims to promote community awareness regarding crucial environmental issues and contribute to achieving environmental sustainability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Through this event, NOTHMIR seeks to foster environmental responsibility and inspire positive actions, particularly among the younger generation.
Planting Together
As part of the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI), a visionary national endeavor launched in 2021, we aim to combat climate change, improve quality of life, and protect the planet for future generations.
In line with this commitment, NOTHMIR proudly presented the “Planting Together” initiative. This initiative, powered by Sidra Capital, is a collaboration with the Social Responsibility Association, the Ministry of Environment, volunteers from the Red Crescent, and our dedicated employees. Together, we planted 1,000 seedlings in the Eastern Forest, contributing to the advancement of a greener Saudi Arabia.
